Random mood board.

This was just to get an idea on what route I wanted to take a project, I decided to go for illustration and I'm going to make a book cover. I'm making a cake book cover as it links in to the project really well, I will use my collages of cupcakes I made to get a strong piece.

Final pieces.

So yesterday I ventured in to Carlisle town to take pictures of my friend Beth holding up a giant pair of knickers, as you do. I decided to do this as I thought it would get the message across since the sin I chose was Gluttony. I feel it's a quirky yet powerful way to show the worry of obesity. Tomorrow I will print them off on either glossy or satin paper and place them in my thick black frames, hopefully they will look good! I have really enjoyed this project :)

''DOG KILLER''

So these were taken at the start of the photography project to get us in to it. We all had to make up a sin, and yes mine was ''I killed my dog''. I'm terribly strange. I kind of love how these turned out after editing them, luckily I was wearing a fury hat and my friend was wearing a fury coat so this made the dog character look a little more realistic. I really do have the best of friends, ha ha :)

Experimenting with Shutter Speed.

This were for the photography project we're doing aswell as the mixed media, I experimented with shutter speed photography to see if it was effective. I like how they turned out, they were really fun to do too!

If only you were edible...

So I'm currently doing a project called inside outside, it's mixed media. I decided to go for cakes, a bit strange but I liked the idea. I've currently made 13 mixed media cupcakes in my book, they are too cute! This is one of my favourites, for my final design I'm creating a cover for a cake book, I have just scanned and edited all of my cupcakes so this will help me for the cover. I love this project! Yey :)
